Main Street Mall Online (MSMO) is a collection of unique mini-malls, each with specific merchandise lines and featuring specialty stores operated by independent sellers. MSMO is built on a concept of experienced sellers providing quality products in a friendly 'small town' style venue with great service and a friendly atmosphere. It is the kind of place we would like to shop. We hope you will too!
Customers do not require a membership, or need to login, in order to make purchases here, nor do they have to provide personal or financial information of any kind to the main site. All transactions are made directly with the sellers, either through the PayPal shopping cart (optional for sellers) or by other means as indicated in the individual seller's listings. Communication between buyers, or potential buyers, and sellers is facilitated through email from the "Contact Seller" button/link in each store and listing. We don't get involved in, and we don't track, your emails or purchases. You deal directly with the seller.
Sellers sign up and create their store(s) on the mall(s) of their choice, offering products and/or services matching the product line represented by the mall in which their store is located. All sellers agree to abide by both the letter and the spirit of our code of conduct. This is a comfortable place to do business.
Our goal is to bring together buyers and sellers, great products and services, and friendly, professional, service in a small town mall atmosphere, much like the renovated main streets all across America. Main Street Mall Online is a slice of the way things used to be, and perhaps a look into the way they will be again in the future. Thank you for joining us here at MSMO!
Main Street Mall Online is a family site, owned and operated by Lora Henry (DBA: Our Hutch). The site was created, and is maintained, by web designer Stephen B. Henry. A number of sellers on the site participate in tech support, promotion and marketing, and other services. We are a cooperative extended family, working together to the success of us all. Sellers are not required to participate in such services, but many do. Those who choose not to are still welcomed and assistance is freely provided for new sellers as they learn their way around the site. Each and every seller is appreciated and supported here.
The site is easy to use, for both store owners and customers, but some may find it different than other sites they may already be used to. We understand this. Assistance is gladly provided to any visitors to the site. You can contact the site owners via the "contact us" tab at the top of most general site pages, or the "how to contact us" and "contact msmo" links in the top menu on mall, store and listing pages. Or you may post in our open discussion forums. In order to prevent "robot" spam on the forum site, an approved account is required. You do not have to provide any personal information, and the account is free. Approval is usually quite prompt.
MSMO is designed in a somewhat unique way to benefit sellers and customers alike. Sellers of well known items like vintage clothing or jewelry will benefit from the specific advertising and promotion efforts of individual sellers and the site as a whole that bring visitors and customers to their broader product lines. People looking for specific things like jewelry or rings or necklaces will be likely to find what they want in searches and visit us here. Other sellers with more unusual things that may not be specifically searched for will benefit from those that are and, with malls specializing in general gifts or unusual items, "window shoppers" are going to find unique things, like guitar pick earrings, canvas travel bag sets, or vintage and antique crochet and knitting patterns they might not even think to look for!
